I am a Christian woman who battles against the busyness and noise of this world. I am a Christian woman learning to let go of the things this world seems to dictate, and taking hold of the truth and freedom we find in Jesus. Sometimes, I need to be a bit more like Mary – a woman who sits at Jesus feet and simply listens to what He has to say.
So this is my Mary Project. My attempt at being close to Jesus, at the feet of the Father, filled with the Holy Spirit, surrounded by Him. My place of wrestling with and learning His truth, while making sense of the brokenness of this world. I want my life to evolve around Him, because when all is said and done, He is all that matters.
Besides Jesus, I also love food (the healthy and the not-always-so-healthy), music and books. I thrive when I get to have deep conversations, and I absolutely adore roses. I seek to find beauty wherever I go, because I believe we can find it everywhere.
I also love to connect with people and talk all things faith, and share the hard things in life. I believe we need each other, especially in difficult times.
