We live in a world of pain and war. It’s everywhere we look, and it’s heart-wrenching. I grief with this world, and with the many people that experience injustice. How much more will a God who loves us grieve for the things done to His children?
Sometimes, my anxious thoughts are like barriers to that quiet place deep down in my soul, where time with Jesus opens my eyes to the golden and glorious things around me. Sometimes, I am too distracted to see what is right before my eyes.
